About Us
The East Tennessee Arts Center (ETAC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit arts organization in the State of Tennessee that was established in 2021. During the COVID-19 Pandemic when there were few to no opportunities to participate in community arts programs and activities. The dream to bring visual fine arts and fine crafts to everyone in East Tennessee and Monroe county was born. With a small group of enthusiastic artists, crafters, teachers, and patrons of the arts, a Board of Directors was formed to map out the structure and objectives for the organization to provide visual arts activities for all to enjoy.
Our Mission Statement:
The East Tennessee Arts Center provides an avenue for the engagement of the visual fine arts and crafts to all residents of Monroe County and surrounding areas by providing hands-on creativity for the benefit of all, engaging, cultivating, and fostering experience with arts and crafts programs, and cultivating a vibrant creative environment for all ages and skill levels to enjoy.
